Bringing the New Zealand launch of the next generation Toyota RAV4 to life required more than a vehicle reveal. It demanded an experience that reflected the capability, ambition and evolution of New Zealand’s most popular passenger vehicle. From venue selection through to route design, guest management and event delivery, we crafted a launch programme that immersed motoring and lifestyle media, alongside leading content creators, in the world of the all-new RAV4. Anchored by the dramatic backdrop of Muriwai Surf Club, the event set the tone from the outset, pairing breathtaking scenery with a premium press experience.
To showcase the vehicle in its natural element, we designed a coast-to-coast journey that traversed some of the North Island’s most spectacular terrain. From Muriwai’s rugged west coast to the rolling roads of Matakana and the unspoilt beauty of the Tāwharanui Peninsula, every location was carefully chosen to highlight the RAV4’s versatility, refinement and performance. Supported by seamless logistics and meticulous event management, the route enabled guests to experience the vehicle across a diverse range of driving conditions, creating authentic moments of discovery and compelling opportunities for content creation.
The programme was further elevated by the presence of RAV4 Chief Engineer Yoshinori Futonagane and Project Manager Hirofumi Yuge, who travelled from Japan to engage directly with media and share insights into the development of Toyota’s latest flagship SUV. By blending exclusive access, world-class hospitality and an expertly curated driving experience, we delivered a launch that not only generated meaningful media engagement but firmly positioned the next generation RAV4 as a significant leap forward from its predecessor. The result was a memorable experience that put the vehicle, and the Toyota story behind it, front and centre.
